Easy Gochujang Macaroni Recipe
A spicy Mac & Cheese hack that elevates a classic childhood favorite into its more adult version.
Ingredients
- Store-bought Macaroni and Cheese
- 1-2 Tbs Korean Gochujang Paste
- OPTIONAL GARNISH - sesame seeds, Everything Bagel Sesame Blend, Scallions
Instructions
- Cook Mac & Cheese according to package directions.
- Dissolve Gochujang in water or melted butter in order to loosen it and help it mix well with cheese sauce.
- Add Gochujang mixture to macaroni when you add the cheese pouch.
- Garnish as desired.
Notes
The heat level of your Gochujang will be on the front of the package. Look for the thermometer. Depending on the heat level of the Gochujang and your heat preference will depend on wether you use one or two tablespoons.
